According to Feedly's engineering blog, an unindexed foreign key query in their background queue caused lock contention across main PostgreSQL clusters during peak morning sync hours, causing global API latency spikes up to 4,000ms.

Engineers executed a hotfix optimizing cache invalidation routines, restoring global sync response times under 150ms across web and mobile clients.
