India-Based QpiAI Inaugurates 128-Qubit Superconducting Quantum Foundry in Bengaluru

QpiAI has inaugurated a groundbreaking 128-qubit quantum chip foundry in Bengaluru, marking a huge milestone for India indigenous deep-tech manufacturing capability.

Superconducting Qubit Architecture and Cryogenic Integration

Deep-tech startup QpiAI has opened India first commercial quantum chip fabrication facility in Bengaluru. The cleanroom foundry is equipped to design, manufacture, and package 128-qubit superconducting quantum processors optimized for hybrid quantum-classical computing workloads.

The facility utilizes advanced electron-beam lithography and dilution refrigeration units to maintain near-absolute-zero operating conditions. By fabricating chips locally, QpiAI aims to supply domestic research institutes, defense agencies, and financial firms with custom quantum processing units (QPUs).
