The discovery of active wild exploitation targeting macOS zero-day CVE-2026-4409 sent shockwaves through the cybersecurity community. The vulnerability resides within `xpcproxy`, the internal helper daemon responsible for instantiating XPC services with appropriate entitlements. Overwriting Entitlement Flags in Memory

By carefully corrupting adjacent heap structures, attackers overwrite internal task entitlement structures (`com.apple.private.security.kext-management` and `com.apple.rootless.install`), granting the calling process unrestricted access to kernel extensions and SIP-protected system files.
