NASA Launches Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope to Map Dark Matter and Exoplanets

NASA's flagship Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope has successfully launched, equipping astronomers with a wide-field view 100 times larger than Hubble to survey dark energy.

NASA has achieved a major astronomical milestone with the successful launch and orbital deployment of the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope. Positioned at Lagrange Point 2 (L2), the observatory features a 2.4-meter primary mirror equipped with a panoramic field of view 100 times greater than that of the Hubble Space Telescope.
